How do I add the calendar to my website?
Step by step
Pick the website builder you use.
- Copy the code above.
- Open the page or post where you want the calendar and click the + button to add a block.
- Search for Custom HTML and add that block.
- Paste the code into the block, then click Update or Publish.
On WordPress.com, the calendar only works on plans that allow plugins. On other plans the code is removed when you save, so use the plain link instead.
- Copy the code above.
- In the Wix editor, click Add Elements (the + button), then Embed Code, then Embed HTML.
- Click Enter Code, choose Code and paste the code in. Click Update.
- Drag the box until the whole calendar shows (about 460 pixels wide and 540 tall), then publish.
Wix shows embedded code in a separate frame. To credit the calendar on your page itself, add the plain link too.
- Copy the code above.
- Edit your page, click Add Block and choose Code.
- Paste the code in. Check the type is set to HTML and Display Source is turned off.
- Click Save, then publish.
Squarespace only runs this kind of code on the Core plan or higher (called Business on older plans). On the entry-level plan, use the plain link instead.
- Copy the code above.
- In Shopify, go to Online Store, then Themes, and click Customize.
- Open the page you want, click Add section and choose Custom Liquid.
- Paste the code into the box and click Save.
If your theme doesn't offer Custom Liquid, ask your theme developer to add the code, or use the plain link instead.
Google Sites runs embedded code in a locked-down frame, so the calendar may not show. The plain link works instead:
- Click Insert, then Text box, and type Find your local trans pride on the Trans Calendar.
- Select the text, click the link button and paste in the address below.
- Click Apply, then Publish.
- Copy the code above.
- In your website editor, look for a block, widget or element called HTML, Custom HTML, Embed or Code.
- Paste the code into it and save.
If you can't find one, ask whoever looks after your website to add the code for you. Any web designer can do it in a few minutes.
Seeing the code on your page instead of the calendar? It went in as normal text. Delete it and paste it into an HTML or code block instead.

Questions
How do I find my local trans pride?
Type your town, city, state or country into the search box and press "Find events" to see everything sorted by distance from there. Or tap "Use my location". Your location stays in your browser and is never stored.
What is trans pride?
Trans pride is a march, rally or festival led by and for trans and non-binary people. It's a day to celebrate trans lives, be visible together and stand up for trans rights, and most mix celebration with protest. Unlike a general Pride event, trans people are at the center of the whole day.
When is trans pride?
There isn't one date. Most trans prides happen in summer, June to August in the northern hemisphere. Trans Day of Visibility events are on or around March 31, and Trans Day of Remembrance marches are on or around November 20.
What is Trans Day of Visibility?
Trans Day of Visibility, on March 31, celebrates trans people and raises awareness of the discrimination they face. It started in the USA in 2009.
What is Trans Day of Remembrance?
Trans Day of Remembrance, on November 20, honors trans people killed in anti-trans violence. It began in 1999 after the murder of Rita Hester. Most events are vigils, and the Trans Calendar lists the ones that include a march.
Where does the information come from?
We searched for trans-specific events in more than 50 countries, in English and in local languages, using organizer websites, local news and community listings. We list events that have happened more than once and are still active. General Pride events are not included. Typical weather comes from 10 years of historical weather records (the Open-Meteo archive) for the week of each event. It is not a forecast. Map data comes from OpenStreetMap contributors, and weather data from Open-Meteo.com (CC BY 4.0).
An event is missing or wrong. How do I tell you?
Send us the details and we'll check and update it. Organizers are very welcome.
Can I put the calendar on my website?
Yes. It's free and stays up to date by itself. Pick your area and copy the code, then follow the steps for your website builder, such as WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or Shopify. If your website can't run code, there's a plain link you can add instead.
